Garden Produce

From nature to your table

Respect for what nature gives us

The organic gardens grow traditional aromatic herbs – pennyroyal, coriander, rosemary, laurel, marjoram, mint and aniseed – that give the local food its characteristic aromas.

Also planted are lettuces, leeks, cabbages, onions, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, tomatoes and strawberries. Lemon, orange, loquat and apple trees proliferate in the orchards.

From honey to organic eggs, olive oil and bread, pennyroyal to tomatoes and various products from the vegetable garden, from fish to black pork or Alentejo meat.

Cattle breeding

The deepest liberty in their natural habitat
Indigenous regional breeds – Iberian black pigs, Alentejana cows, white and black Merino sheep and Pure Blood Lusitano horses – also roam at will on the estate in their natural habitat: the cork-oak woods.
