Since 1998, when we acquired Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, we have been committed, as a family, to protecting the natural wealth, the environmental balance of the property and the involvement of the local community. The option for the production of genuine Alentejo and high quality products reflect this commitment.
Herdade da Malhadinha Nova aims to produce high quality Alentejo wines from its 80 ha of vineyards, which have been under organic production since 2019, respecting the highest quality standards and reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
Our winery is equipped with advanced technology, which allows us to achieve compliance with all the quality standards that are currently in force, namely the requirements of ISO9001, Food Safety and Occupational Safety, implicit in the entire winemaking process.
The philosophy of the project seeks to continuously exceed the expectations of our clients, employees and partners, achieved through implemented practices that consistently contribute to the recognition of our products and the consequent satisfaction of all those involved.
Within the scope of sustainability we have a holistic vision, with this concept being extensive to the social, economic, environmental and human domains. In terms of sustainability, we seek to respect the ecosystem through efficient water management, waste management and energy consumption.
We promote the continuous improvement of Herdade da Malhadinha Nova and the effectiveness of the Quality and Sustainability Management System, through the involvement of all employees and compliance with the legal and statutory requirements that are applicable to us.
We invest in the development of our employees' skills, as we believe that this investment reflects into a greater involvement and commitment to the quality and sustainability management system.
