Casa da Ribeira

Slow living villa

Casa da Ribeira has around 370m2 and 3 75m2 suites all with private balconies and exterior areas with singular views over the Alentejo plains and a exterior pool.

Standing almost perpendicular to Casa das Artes e Ofícios is Casa da Ribeira, which owes its name to the fact it is located near the Ribeira de Terges. The blue of the water is the unifying colour theme in the three 75 m2 suites, all with private terraces that extend along a corridor paved with oak flooring.

In the spacious kitchen and lounge, the highlights are the old pharmacy cabinets turned into cupboards and shelves, a Moooi Perch Lamp by designer Umut Yamac, Portuguese sideboards by Olaio and white chairs designed by the German creator and industrialist Michael Thonet in 1830, two iconic historical brands that have been given a new lease of life.

Representing a new concept in villa accommodation, the building runs parallel to a shared swimming pool with a deck.
