Arrival at Herdade da Malhadinha Nova – Welcome aperitif at reception/tavern accompanied by Malhadinha wines.

Visit to the estate followed by a wine tasting, where you can discover the indigenous grape varieties of our country in an intimate tasting, two to two, in our tavern.

Special Valentine's dinner at the Malhadinha Restaurant - Michelin Green Star. Feel the cosy and intimate atmosphere we've created for this special day and be inspired by the love of Camões' sonnets. Pedro Lamares, actor and poetry reciter, and Jorge Benvinda, singer-songwriter from Beja, will share moments of music and poetry inspired by love.

Astronomical Observation Experience – Celebrate the most romantic night in the universe with a stargazing experience. In one of the areas of Europe with the least light pollution, you can admire the immensity of the stars with the help of telescopes, while experts share stories and curiosities.

Camões writes in an epic and sublime way about love in Canto IX, the Episode of the ISLAND OF LOVERS. Here, love is represented in different dimensions Always inspired by the goddess Venus who creates this symbolic island for the enjoyment of Portuguese navigators and the celebration of heroic deeds.

Hot Air Balloon Ride over the Skies of Malhadinha [Experience with an additional charge to the programme, taking place between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM] – After landing, celebrate your adventure as a couple with breakfast served by our team, in the middle of nature, an experience that combines the beauty of heaven and earth in a setting of pure serenity.

8:30 AM – 11:00 AM –  Breakfast served exclusively in the room for those not taking part in the hot air balloon experience or if the activity is not carried out due to weather conditions.

LOVE & NATURE – Visit to the gardens followed by a cookery workshop inspired by the Portuguese colonies, followed by a light lunch inspired by their gastronomic traditions.

LOVE & SENSUALITY – A couple's moment at our ‘M Wellness Spa’ - a rejuvenating moment at the M Wellness Spa with the signature treatment for couples, ‘Vinotherapy Massage for Couples’, which combines a massage with grape-seed oil, an invigorating Vinotherapy bath and a delicious wine-tasting experience (activity by prior appointment).

IDEALISED AND MYTHICAL LOVE – Pottery Atelier - Inspired by the Goddess Venus, in which love appears as a divine reward. Create a unique gift for your loved one. Camões recital by Pedro Lamares in the barrel cellar.

LOVE AS HEROIC EXALTATION –  Romantic Dinner ‘A Ilha dos Amores’ - The celebration of Love by the nymphs on the island was always considered by Camões to be a symbol of triumph and recognition for the heroic deeds of the Portuguese. Our chefs have created a menu that celebrates the epic dimension of ‘Os Lusíadas’ (The Lusiads). The soft melody of the Harp complements this experience.

The Romance of Pedro and Inês de Castro immortalised in Canto III of ‘Os Lusíadas’, where spiritual love in Camões' work is often presented as a way of reaching the divine. This love goes beyond earthly desire and seeks truth, goodness and eternal beauty, represented in the episode of Pedro and Inês de Castro: epic, tragic and profane love.

Here, Love is celebrated as a form of coronation and transcends the divine dimension. Inspired by this motto, let the gentle breeze guide you to the present moment, fostering a deeper connection with each other and the world around you, creating a precious memory that will be forever engraved in your hearts in the equestrian experience with our Lusitano Thoroughbred horses.

PROFANE AND DIVINE LOVE –  Visit to the Hermitage of Our Lady of Aracelis followed by lunch in full communion with nature - The episode of Inês de Castro is the most famous moment in ‘Os Lusíadas’, uniting history, poetry and nature. Celebrate this moment of love in full communion with the unique landscape next to the chapel whose construction dates back to the time of Pedro and Inês' romance, on one of the highest and most unique points in the Baixo Alentejo. The landscape and surroundings speak for themselves!
