3pm. Arrival at Malhadinha Nova. Start your experience in a terrifying way, with treats prepared by our team of chefs, with ingredients from our property, transformd into skulls, spiders, bats, snakes and a lot of other delicious surprises.

5pm. Discover Malhadinha Nova’s pottery house, in a Dia de los Muertos themed workshop, where you will a have a chance to use the clay from our land to create scary pottery pieces of your choice. Skulls, pumpkins, spiders… the scarier the better! 

Alternatively, for the younger members of the group, our guest experience team will also be available for a T-shirt painting workshop where you will have a chance to create your own scary T-shirt and take it home with you.

8:30pm. Get to know Malhadinha Nova’s restaurant, in a thematic dinner prepared by our team of chefs inspired by Mexican cuisine, but always with all organic ingredients from our estate and the region.

9:30pm. There is no better way to fully understand the true meaning behind Dia de los Muertos, than by watching the musical “Coco” – a touching yet joyful story about tradition, passion, family and music… enjoy a cinema evening in our taberna, with warm popcorn and drinks of your choice to either refresh or warm you up on this first night.

8:30 – 11am. Enjoy Malhadinha Nova’s delicious breakfast, prepared with fresh fruit and vegetables from our estate and ingredients from the region all homemade and organic, so you can start the day in the best possible way.

11am. Join us for a tour around Malhadinha Nova, while we take you around the property in our old haunted jeeps. Learn the story behind this family project and all the areas that are part of it, including meeting some of our families of animals that grow in complete freedom in our estate. You will have a chance to visit our winery and learn more about our unique approach to wine production, finishing with a special wine tasting of some of our certificate organic wines at our Taberna.

11:30am. For the younger members of the group, our guest experience team prepared a scary treasure hunt with a lot of surprises and hidden treats around some of the best hiding spots in our property.

12:30pm. For lunch, we prepared a picnic in our vineyard, inspired by Irish cuisine. The menu will be full of the most delicious flavours from this autumn that you will taste in this unique space completely immersed in nature.

3pm. Is it also part of Halloween’s traditions, to decorate pumpkins with scary motives. This year at Malhadinha Nova, we bring you a cooking workshop that will be both fun and delicious, as we will teach you how to create your own scary pumpkin, and use its interiors to prepare delicious recipes.

4:30pm. Test your archery skills, in a fun activity for all ages.

8pm. Enjoy a terrifying dinner in our wine cellar, with the light of old chandeliers and a special musical performance to fill your night with magic.

8:30 – 11am. Start your day with another delicious breakfast with all the colour and flavour from the fresh fruit and vegetables from our land as well as homemade bread and pastries and cheese and charcuterie from the region.

10am. Because not all monsters are scary, our guest experience team will join your breakfast in the form of “Monsters Inc.” characters, with face painting and a lot of entertainment.

10:30am. To end your experience in an adventurous way, we prepared a quad bike and jeep ride around some of the more adventurous tracks in our estate, while you say goodbye to Alentejo’s landscapes and to this Halloween experience.
